450 HECTARES OF THE RANCH ARE POPULATED WITH A VARIETY OF FREE ROAMING AND RECENTLY INTRODUCED GAME TO BE ENJOYED

Our Red Hartebeest

One of our Ostriches

Here at Thaba Manzi we have created a truly African Ranch and our Nguni cattle and Pedi sheep share grazing with free roaming and introduced animals that existed long before they did. Today they live together as they did in the tribal days before the arrival of Europeans on this beautiful continent.

They do so on the plains and mountain slopes of the oldest mountain range on the planet, formed some 2.4 billion years ago when Africa and South America were still connected.

These pictures are of some of the animals regularly seen on the ranch.
